Effective for the 2024-25 award year, citizens of the following three Freely Associated States (FSA) are eligible for resident tuition at Washington State University.
Eligible students are coded as Non-Resident in myWSU, but will receive a tuition exception to update tuition to the resident rate. If resident tuition is not visible in myWSU, email the Residency Officer to have your status checked.
If your tuition bill does not show resident tuition, you can submit citizenship documentation to the Residency Officer to update your status in myWSU.
