Residency Affidavit prior to 7/25/21

This information is for terms prior to Fall 2021.

Students may qualify for resident tuition at WSU if they:

  • Graduate from a Washington high school with a diploma, earn a GED, or earn a diploma equivalent, AND
    • High school graduates must finish their full senior year at a Washington high school.
  • Live in Washington for at least three consecutive years (36 months) immediately before the date they earn a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, AND
  • Continuously live in Washington after the date they earn a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent until admitted to college, AND
  • Sign an affidavit stating that they meet the above requirements. Students who are not US citizens, national, or permanent resident will also commit to applying for US permanent residency when eligible.
